Why I Do This Work

I didn’t come to menopause work through trends or personal branding. I came to it through clinical experience, science, and lived observation, watching women struggle with symptoms that didn’t respond to generic advice and being told, far too often, that it was “just part of getting older.”

As a degree-qualified nutritionist, former registered nurse, and Certified Fitgenes Practitioner, I spent years working alongside women navigating complex health changes, particularly around hormones, metabolism, mood, and energy. Over time, one pattern became impossible to ignore. Women were doing their best, yet the advice they were given simply didn’t match what their bodies were experiencing.

Menopause isn’t a breakdown of discipline or motivation. It’s a biological shift. As hormones change, the body responds differently to food, stress, movement, sleep, and even supplements. What once worked may stop working entirely.

When women are given one-size-fits-all guidance during this stage, it often leads to frustration, anxiety, and self-blame. My work focuses on changing that narrative by helping women understand their biology and respond to it with calm, informed support instead of restriction or extremes.

My Family - Husband Brett and our two adult children and their partners. Totally in love with our first grandbaby Camden Belle who turns 2 in May. Really amazing to have three generations of women in the family.  I have a pic on my Instagram of the three of us. ....And I can't forget the star of most of my videos, my Jack Russell x Poodle called Mo.  I don't plan for him to in the video but he is never far away!

I love to read.  I like thriller or murder mystery (like The Girl with Dragon Tattoo - Steg Larsen). I have read every Jack Reacher (Lee Child) book and other similar authors.  I need some new Authors to read if anyone has any suggestions.
